About sm^sher
sm^sher is the moniker of Stroud based artist and producer Imogen Mason. Her debut album Pit of Mine was released last year on unruly London label Scrawl. sm^sher's sonic world is impulsive, visceral and tapestried; weaving meditations on memory, grief, addiction, introversion and hope around industrial soundscape, fractured beats, drone-backed folk song and collage.
