AADE: Subject Sue – EP Release Details In The Dark

Amsterdam-based artist Subject Sue celebrates the release of her debut EP Details In The Dark. Subject Sue creates dystopian nightclub music at the intersection of darkwave and ethereal techno. Through pulsating synthesizers, textured soundscapes and haunting vocal harmonies, she explores the blurred boundaries between lust and romance, intimacy and alienation. Inspired by queer club culture and the fragile edge between euphoria and estrangement, her music unfolds into a sweaty nocturnal haze. For this special release show, she brings Details In The Dark to the stage with live vocals, synthesizers, and an immersive light installation by .WEST Studio. The EP is released on vinyl via Italian darkwave label Avant! Records. Supporting the night is live dance duo M2K. M2K consists of producer Marnix Bausch and drummer Sam Kemner. Inspired by '90s underground dance music, The Chemical Brothers and Soulwax, they combine electronic production with live drums to create an energetic and immersive performance. Marnix writes his music from the chaos created by living with ADHD, building euphoric worlds for dreamers who sometimes feel lost.
