De uit Manchester afkomstige band Arkayla staat bekend om hun wervelende indierock, gekenmerkt door harmonieuze melodieën, gelaagde gitaarklanken en pakkende teksten. Ze hebben een solide reputatie opgebouwd en braken recentelijk door in hun thuisland. Naast eigen liveshows tourden ze met Blossoms, wat hen een aanrader maakt voor liefhebbers van bands als Blossoms, The Sherlocks en The Lathums. Volgens Guy Garvey van BBC Radio 6 belichaamt Arkayla het beste van de rockscene in Manchester.
