This Amsterdam-based band consists of seven young musicians from Syria, Siberia, Mexico, and France. Amal is the Arabic word for hope and that’s exactly what the band brings: music that makes you forget borders and connects worlds. Listen to the soulful echoes of the buzuk, drift away with the rich harmonies of the cello, and move to the driving rhythms of Mexican beats. First enjoy the ÁMÀL Ensemble show. Then secondly, the stage is yours, during the Open Stage, ÁMÀL serves as the backbone band and everyone is welcome to join in, to play, jam or sing along. All are welcome.
