Kabaka Pyramid is een Grammy winnende, ‘conscious revolutionary lyricist’ reggae artiest uit Jamaica. Zijn achtergrond in hiphop is onmiskenbaar in zijn reggae en dancehall sound, wat een moderne en verfrissende twist geeft aan zijn werk. De kracht, melodie en energie van reggae vermengd met de lyrische veelzijdigheid van hiphop smelten perfect samen tot een uniek geheel. In 2022 won zijn album 'The Kalling' (geproduceerd door Damian ‘Jr. Gong’ Marley) de Grammy Award voor Beste Reggae Album. Verder was hij ook te horen op tracks van drum & bass acts Chase & Status en Rudimental.
