SLAPPED Records On The Road continues, teaming up with Offbeat House to bring the label’s debut in our beloved Amsterdam. We’re overjoyed to be welcomed into the formidable & historic Het Sieraad in their Plaatwerkerij space. For the occasion, we’ve put together a lineup that fuels the flame of our original mission as a musical collective. We’ll have our label head & visionary, Mitch Oliver, whose infectious energy on the decks is matched by a mixed bag of tracks that, simply put, SLAP. Joining us will be fellow Canadian Mustafa Ismaeel, one of the first artists we released with on the label from his fresh take on our track, Control Z. Mustafa brings a rich tapestry of influences and a deep musical intuition into everything that he does. We’ll also have Bakayán – the Berlin-based hybrid-live wizard, an artist that keeps pushing forward & breaking expectations in a constant path of becoming. Rounding it out, we’ll have our local guide, ARĒS, whose work with Offbeat House has made this possible. All in all, we’re in for a sonic treat that breaks genre norms, spans geographic sensibilities, and reminds us of music’s transformational power. Saturday, 04 July into the early morning of 05 July.
