The Amsterdelics

<p>The Amsterdam funk collective <a href="https://www.instagram.com/theamsterdelics/">Amsterdelics</a> is celebrating its tenth anniversary! They have been quietly working on their new album for the past two years, and that calls for a celebration, as usual at the Melkweg - on the evening before Ascension Day. The new 12-inch “Angels And Rebels”, featuring a dub remix by British sound wizard Gaudi, is available in stores and on <a href="https://theamsterdelics.bandcamp.com/">Bandcamp</a>. Ten years. That of course calls for a show where they go all out. And that's exactly what they're doing!</p><p><strong>Special guests:</strong><br>- Def P - de enige echte. (Osdorp Posse)<br>- Pieter Both - (Beef &amp; Jah6)<br>- Maikal X - a.k.a. Shy Rock (Postmen, Michael X)<br>- Joe Bowie - the legendary trombonist, multi-instrumentalist and founder of Defunkt, the renowned 1970s street jazz/funk band from New York.<br>- Joost Belinfante - (Doe Maar) multi-instrumentalist and songwriter. He wrote and sang (spoke?) the alternative Dutch anthem of the 1970s, “Nederwiet”.
