“UNVEILING THE CROWN: An Ode to Braiding Hair” is a poetic short film about a mother and daughter navigating distance, tension, and connection. Within the ritual of braiding hair, something unspoken begins to surface fragments of memory, ancestry, and emotion, passing gently between hands  This evening includes live music performances by Afia Anim and JJ Scoop, and the premiere screening of the film followed by a Q&A with the filmmaker, hosted by Saber Aidarus.
